This Sunday the 24th February 2013 IS the second Summer Social ride for our club members.

SKCC Training Director Liz Georgeson will be the ride leader and guide on the day.

The ride will start at 10am from Gisborne (meeting/start point is the Gisborne Caltex Service station where there’s plenty of parking) and will head to Woodend and then up Mt Macedon for coffee, food and some great views. The ride will then head back the same way it came which will amount to approximately 55km for the round trip.

This ride is a social ride (not a beginner’s ride) open to all members (both women and men) who would like to join Liz on a social ride to enjoy the scenery, the quiet back roads to Woodend and the steady climb up Mt Macedon for replenishments and the stunning view.

Being a club ride so is only open to SKCC members.

PLEASE note the following important details: this ride is approximately a 55km round trip (finishing back at Gisborne) involving rolling hills and a steady climb up Mt Macedon which would be comparative to the 1 in 20 of the Dandenong ranges, so if you enjoy that, do come along for a fun day out on the bike. Liz has a ‘no drop’ policy so be reassured you won’t be left behind.
