Bridget has been an SKCC member for just on six months, but has had some great opportunities present themselves to her, and she’s grabbed them with both hands.
Here’s a brief run-down on Bridget’s journey in Bridget’s words….

“I’ve only been a member of SKCC since February but have already had many amazing opportunities and experiences within this fun and welcoming cycling community!
It all began when I won the Lead Out Cycling ‘Zero-to-Euro’ sponsorship position. The guys at Lead Out were looking for an enthusiastic beginner rider and I fit the bill! The sponsorship includes up to 12 months coaching and Team kit from Lead Out, and a fabulous Giant Avail Advanced 0 to ride thanks to Giant Bikes Australia.
Since then I’ve had some great adventures and learnt so much. I’m also feeling a lot stronger and fitter on the bike, and am keen to test out my new skills and fitness on the Future 2 Ride from Melbourne to Sydney in October.

I love being part of SKCC because of its friendly members and focus on women’s cycling. My upcoming goals are Amy’s Gran Fondo and to try my hand at the famous SKCC crits this summer.
I am really grateful to be involved in this unique opportunity, and it’s all thanks to Lead Out, Giant and Bicycles Inc. for making it happen!”
