SKCC_Committee_2011

Your ride leaders for September Monthly Meanders on Sunday 25th September will be the SKCC Committee.  So, come along and catch up with the newly appointed SKCC Committee for season 2011/12.  It’s a great opportunity to hear what’s going on around the club over a good brew and some breakfast.

With the SKCC Committee controlling the pace, Monthly Meanders lets you choose your training intensity with the option of staying with the bunch at a recovery pace, or joining a breakaway group for a higher speed focus over a greater distance.  After the ride we all reconnect for a coffee & cakes or breakfast session back at St Kilda.

We’ll meet at the Mobil Petrol Station at the corner of The Esplanade and St Kilda St Elwood, rolling out at 7.30am down to Patterson River at a measured pace in the low 30s.

At Patterson River, the bunch will split, with one group heading off for a Mt Eliza loop at a faster pace (35-40km/h), with the other group turning at Patterson River to head back to St Kilda, maintaining a pace in the low 30s.  The groups will rejoin for a post ride coffee and breakfast at a nominated venue.

As a courtesy to our chosen coffee venue, and to ensure we’re all fed in good time, we’d like to let them know what rider numbers to expect.  It would help if you could email us if you’ll be joining your friends and fellow members for the Monthly Meander on Sunday 25A September.
