The Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend saw the traditional Northern Combine Three Day Tour.  The 3DT comprises four timed stages, contested on the rolling roads around Lancefield and Kyneton.  It is contested by six senior grades – Men’s A,B,C & D and Women’s A & B. Entry is limited to 40 riders per grade.

SKCC riders were again amongst the action and featured on the podium.  Particular mention must go to three of our riders in Women’s A Grade, with Amy Bradley taking third place, followed by Nadine O’Connor and Tanya Matthewson in fourth and fifth respectively.

The Northern Combine takes a break this weekend, which will no doubt be great relief for the many tired and weary riders who contested the 3DT.  The next Northern Combine race is the ITT at Balliang, hosted by Brunswick Preston CC on Sunday, 24 June.
