Another Good News Story and why not. SKCC being the “best cycling club in the world” with a fast developing track team to boot. What a story!! Two new track riders commenced training on the track this week. Great to see them at the velodrome having a fantastic time and showing huge potential as stars in the SKCC Track Squad.

If you think track riding is for you then drop us a line. Doesn’t matter if you haven’t ridden track before as long as you are a SKCC members and have a race licence. Come along to the next SKCC track session below.
Below is a photo of all the medal winners earlier this year at the Victorian Club Track titles. It doesn’t get much better than this. SKCC absolutely smashed into the medal tally earlier this year. For a club with a relative small band of dedicated track riders they certainly made an impact on the other clubs prospects of getting podium finishes and on a number of occasions taking the number one place.

Reflection on events earlier this year
Good finishes don’t come easy. It takes a lot of hard work and training to get good results. SKCC scheduled track training has been nominated below to embrace and support the SKCC track riders. Further training leading into the Vic Club Titles will be secured to ensure teams have enough time to train with each other adequately. Victoria Club titles are scheduled to be held on Saturday 18th January 2014. With the support and guidance of Shane Kelly at these evening track training sessions will ensure our riders have the best possible chance of returning good results for the Club titles.

Just when you thought the old kits had all gone. Never to be see again. This old guy showed up in the old SKCC kit (2004 from memory?)
One of the original SKCC track riders. Kit was like brand new. Can’t show you his face either but he’s coming back racing again.
