Event Details

A mix of sprint and endurance track racing providing those new to the sport with the perfect step-up to open racing and providing those more experienced riders with regular competition.

Junior Categories: J11/13, JM15, JW15
Senior Categories: Please note senior racing is graded: Men A, B & C, Women A & B.
Handicapping: Please help the handicappers with grading by providing some detail about your race form. Thanks.
Race Program: – TBA
Minimum of 3 races per night.
Scratching: Entrants wishing to withdrawal with an automatic refund can do so via EntryBoss up until the scratching cut-off.

Sessions

SESSION 1: JUNIORS (U11-U15)
Junior Warm-up and Registration: 2pm – 3pm
Junior Racing: 3pm – 5pm

SESSION 2: FIRST SENIOR SESSION (U17 & Up)
Registration: from 4.30pm
Racing: from 5.30pm

SESSION 3: SECOND SENIOR SESSION (U17 & Up)
Registration: from 6.30pm
Racing: from 7.30pm

Entries

Entries for this series will be online only – There will be no manual entries accepted after the closing date. If you chose to submit a manual entry please contact Craig Eastwood (craig.eastwood@cycling.org.au) to confirm your entry was received.

FEES
Juniors: J11, J13 & J15 – $15
All Others: $20

Holders: Where possible can riders please invite a holder given the high number of events requiring holders during the evening.

Series Prizes aggregated points by Grade – 5 for first, 3, 2, 1 for second, third and fourth
Each rider will receive 1 point per round for participation
No Individual Round prizes

Special Notice – Gearing

Junior racing will be required to adhere to junior gear restrictions (Junior Gearing calculator can be found here)

Volunteer Assistance

The Winter Track Series are run by a group made up from the various cycling clubs on a voluntary basis. They are in need of more people to share the duties in order to present a smooth running & fast moving event. Any assistance from people especially those with computing skills would be greatly appreciated.
