SKCC WEEKLY SCHEDULE:

SKCC club rides are strictly for members who are wearing club kit. Group rides can be dangerous for the uninitiated and the inexperienced, so we require all participants to have undergone an assessment before rolling turns.

MONDAY

5.45am Northside Revive – Clifton Hill. Pace 26-28km/hr open to all
6am She Rides on Beach Rd (Women only) – Elwood (LRB). Pace 25-28km/hr Suitable for beginners. No Drop Ride

TUESDAYS

5:45am Tear Away Tuesday (TaT) – Luna Park (beach side). Pace 30-35km/hr. Reasonable fitness and experience with bunch riding and constant rolling turns are a must.
6am She Rides on the Boulie – Yarra Blvd Kew. Pace low to mid 20s.
9.30am Social Ride – Luna Park (beach side) – A pro hours ride with social pace and social rolling turns

WEDNESDAYS

5.45am Kit Ride – Luna Park (beach side) – Riders must be confident and competent in fast constant rolling turns. Returning mid-40s.
5.45am Hump Day Heroes – Luna Park (mouth/entrance) – reasonable fitness and bunch skills required. Low 30s on the way out with continuous rolling turns, loop around Haydens Rd, high 30s return. 
6am Women’s Intermediate – Elwood (LRB) – 28-30km/hr out, 32-35km/hr return. Opportunity to learn constant rolling turns.

THURSDAYS

5.45am Reserve Road – Elwood (LRB) – reasonable fitness and bunch skills required. 30km/hr out, 35-38km/hr return. Opportunity to refine constant rolling turn skills.
5.45am The People’s Champ Ride – Luna Park (mouth/entrance) – reasonable to advanced fitness and bunch skills required. 

FRIDAYS

6am TGIF – Elwood (LRB) – Recovery Ride, suitable for beginners.
6am Zwift Ride – 1hr Zwift workout session for club members.

Other

  • Regular training weekends away.
  • “Velo Vendredi” our monthly-on-a-Friday ride with free goodies and guest ride groups/leaders.
  • Weekend longer rides in the hills.
