RECREATIONAL LICENCES - Cycling Australia
Ride Adult or Ride Jnr (Recreational) Silver Licences entitle members to fully insured participation in recreational and charity fun rides, club training & coffee crew rides, gran fondo style rides and club skill development & introduction to cycling activities.

It provides the same 24 hour insurance cover while on the bike as Competitive categories with the exception of Competitive events (which this member category is not entitled to participate in).

SILVER LICENCES ARE AVAILABLE IN:
- Senior : Over 19
- Junior : Under 19
- Senior 65+ : Over 65

The Ride membership category is valid for one year, but renewed on a quarterly rolling basis. This means means it is valid for 365 days plus the extra days to reach the next renewal points in the year - 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December.  I.e. If I purchase a licence on January 1, 2011, it is valid until March 31, 2012.

A KIDZ LICENCE IS AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13:
KIDZ – an inexpensive introduction to the club environment for under 13’s (primary age groups) enabling skill development and modified activity that will ultimately lead into competitive membership. *licence valid until December 31st of membership year
