TEMPORARY COMPETITIVE LICENCES
If you’re not quite ready to take the plunge on a full competitive licence without trying it out first, then this option may be for you.
There are two temporary licence options that can be used as an introduction to competitive cycling…..a “come-n-try” before you buy initiative.
These permits can only be used at local club racing (eg: SKCC Crits or Northern Combine Winter Road Season). They cannot be used for Cycling Victoria or Cycling Australia events (eg: State and National Championships).
Day Permit ($40)
Purchased on the day, for use in a single event.
3-Ride Permit ($55)
Entitles the rider to race 3 times, expires 3 months from the first event it is used for.
Can be purchased on the day at an event OR pre-purchased from the Club.

our Club Administrator and she will arrange payment by credit card, direct deposit or cheque and mail your 3-Ride Permit to you.
NB: If a rider decides to upgrade to a full competitive licence he will receive a $44 rebate of the cost of a 3-Ride Permit off the cost of his full competitive licence.
There are no rebates on Day Permits.
(Once you’ve experienced Competitive cycling and decided that this is for you and you wish to upgrade your 3-Ride Permit to a full competitive licence refer to the “Upgrade” menu item for instructions on how to do this.)
Temporary membership, and associated insurance cover, applies from the commencement of the specific event or activity until the completion of that event or withdrawal by the participant.
